'The path of least resistance' was completed as part of an investigation into neural pathways within the human brain and led to a collaboration with The Clinical Imaging Sciences Centre.

This particular piece was drawn onto paper with pencil in a freehand, organic manner starting from one mark which then grew outwards.

Once the pencil drawing was completed, paint was carefully added. A series of self imposed rules or systems were followed to create this piece and a monochrome colour palette selected.
